How and why we started

Mom’s UIF Assist CC was founded by Marie Botes in May 2005 after she struggled for months to claim her UIF after the birth of her son.

Marie started to assist friends and people that worked with her to claim their UIF, within month’s the word spread and people from all over South Africa started to phone her for assistance. As they say the best kind of advertisement is “word-of-mouth”.

She realised their was a need for a professional service, that could assist new and expecting moms in claiming UIF and Mom’s UIF Assist CC was born.

In the last 3 years Mom’s UIF Assist CC assisted thousands of expecting and new moms in claiming their UIF.

What we do for you

We give you all the forms and instructions that you will need

We advice you on completing the forms correctly

We submit your application to the Department of Labour when you maternity leave start or when we receive your application (which ever comes first)

When your application is approved we go back monthly to submit your claim form and the UIF pay the money directly into your bank account.

We let you know via either phone/sms/e-mail on the status of your application and also on the monthly amount payable to you.

We assist you as far as possible if any problems arise regarding your UIF claim.

What is our fee?

Our fee is R450 once off. You pay a R200 deposit before we give you all the forms and instructions. The other R250 is payable when we submit your application to the Department of Labour.

If your baby is older than 4 months old when your application reach us our fee is R550 because of added pressure on the system.

Nation wide service!

We submit our applications in Pretoria at the Department of Labour Head Office.  They allocated dedicated staff to us and because of this we have a very good turn around time in getting applications approved. We can submit your application even if you are not from Pretoria.
